By means of an historic overview of the museum’s highlights, the visitor will get an insight into the ever-changing eras. Apart from the rare gems, items that have never been displayed before will also receive their fair share of attention, illustrating how certain clothes evolved from ‘must-have items’ to memories of a distant past. Techniques and fabrics that have altered fashion throughout the centuries will demonstrate how fashion keeps reinventing itself.
